Hello!
After upgrading to Studio 17.2.1 from 17.2, my source viewer became very glitchy and unusable.
There are posts about similar issues so I wonder if it's a widespread bug or an issue with my system.
17.2 worked fine, but since 17.2.1, when I try to scrub footage, or play even short audio files (including fairlight sound effect library), the system locks up and freezes with a glitchy stagger forward every 10-15 seconds or so. When I hit pause, after a couple seconds it all comes back to life. But when I hit play again, the staggering starts. The software never crashes however.
Sometimes I start playing a footage in the source viewer and it plays fine for 10-20 seconds, then the staggering starts, rendering the source viewer useless and finding footage impossible.
The strange part is, everything on the timeline is fine. If I drag a footage/audio to the timeline, I can scrub through it fine, it plays without any hiccups.
Based on other posts so far I tried doing a clean install of Resolve, a clean install of Nvidia Studio Drivers, disconnected the Speed Editor from Bluetooth. Issue remains.
Hardware is Win10 desktop PC, 32 GB RAM, GeForce 1050Ti 4GB VGA. I only work with 1080P footage from a Canon m50, footage is on an SSD drive and Resolve is installed on an NVMe SSD.
Is there anything else I could try? Thank you!
