Constant Crashing ! Extremely frustrating

PostFri Jun 11, 2021 3:16 pm

Hi all,
Mega bad point for me at the moment! A client waiting on 5 videos and now the project won't open. I am 98% finished and I am tearing my hair out right now. Seriously.

Resolve crashed. I tried making an export of the project and re-import it ~ no luck. I am running all updated versions of EVERYTHING.

Should I again re-install DR to see if it boots the system again? It is the second time this week I've had to deal with this.

Can anyone shed some light here, please?

DR has been really buggy lately for me and I am now annoyed at all of the small quirks that have happened to me so far.

Just needed to vent my disappointment as of lately.

fwiw, I find when I get a lot of crashes in a row, a reboot of the PC helps. I have also seen suggestions to use Nvidia Studio drivers rather than the "game ready" ones. They are the same drivers but a more stable code branch. It did not help me, though.

Give the FAQ a read Patrick. It goes over what information to post so staff can help.

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
