color space transform, aces transform settings for bmpcc6k

PostFri Jun 11, 2021 9:52 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know which settings to use for color space transform and aces transform for footage shot on bmpcc6k pro gen5?

bmpcc4k and 4.6k are available, but nothing for 6k.

Thank you

Did you shoot RAW or ProRes?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Are you saying there isn't an ACES IDT available for the 6K? Both the 4K and 4.6K should be the same and usable for the 6K, if in Braw, since an input device transform isn't about resolution, rather colourspace. Though according to Netflix "By default, for RAW clips, Resolve will automatically debayer images into ACES and you should see a normal looking image". I would imagine ProRes is standard camera Rec. 709. In any case I would ask BMD support directly.

In ACES project all raw sources are debayered straight to aces but from question I get the impression that it isn’t braw and it isn’t aces project but manual colorspace transforms based color handling...?
I do stuff.
