Hello All
my computer is a HPZ820 Workstation with windows 7 professional 64bit. GPU Nvidia K6000
I downloaded Resolve from the Blackmagic website and installed it.
When I go to launch it I get an error message stating:
The Procedure entry point cl enqueuemarkerwith waitlist could not be located in the dynamic link library
Opencl.DLL

can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this?

DaVinci Resolve 16 and 17 is designed for W10 and not W7 or W8.
I dont expect it will work correctly with W7

Peter, Resolve 16 worked flawlessly for me with Windows 7, up to 16.3 beta

I really wish Resolve 17 would still work with Win 7 as I cannot upgrade the system because Win 10 will render a lot of my hardware unusable.

You have to be aware that Resolve 16.2 does not support BRAW with color science Gen 5.
For that you would need at least the Resolve Beta 16.3 or the official release of Resolve 17.x

the 16.3 beta is no longer downloadable and has been replaced by the first 17 beta!

and with the latest 7.3.x firmware for the pockets 7.1.1 is the minimum version supported gen5 from

.

I know. And therefore I am stuck on 16.3 beta on my workstations (except the laptops) as I can't update to Win 10 due to unsupported hardware drivers for the hardware raids.
We would have to evaluate a new raid hardware platform, replace all LSI raid cards, recreate all raids, put spare raid cards in stock and create a new raid monitoring workflow.
That means a significant investment of many thousands of Euros and dozens of work hours just because Resolve doesn't support Win 7 any more. On top of that we'll have to throw away a pile of perfectly working hardware.

I tried Resolve versions 16,15 14 they all had the same missing dll error. Finally, I loaded 12.5 and it installed successfully. So now when resolve opens I get NO CUDA ACCELERATION DETECTED.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

thank you

I never encountered that opencl error on Win7, but others here have reported in the past that that deleting the opencl.dll file in the Resolve program folder fixed it. You could try searching for that thread for more information. You should be able to run all versions of 16 ( as well as all earlier releases) on win7, with some minor operational limitations.
