Hey! I am new to Resolve after using Vegas Pro for 10-11 years. But I have a serious issue the last week. I am using the latest version BTW. The problem is that when I have configured my PC with Windows 10, the external Behringer UMC 202 HD sound card seems to make Resolve unable to load any project I am working on? I load the project but then it get stuck at 68% or 100%. The only way to quit is ctrl+alt+delete. When I change to NVIDIA audio HD Resolve loads the project. Since the sound in my 27" screen isnt good. I need my sound card to work. Anyone?
Ok! I deleted my last post I just uninstalled all graphic and sound drivers and installed them again and I now actually works!?! I have spent last week and I had no luck. I will test this with my 2 new projects.
If you have any further problems, try disabling the nvidea sound driver in device manager so that your Behringer is the only one active. They often do not get along and also cause issues in other DAW's.
I use both a Behringer X32 mixer and a RME usb interface without issue. Unfortunately, as Charles mentioned, there is no asio support in Resolve so the system/wdm driver is your only option.
I am not sure what Jim means by 'traditional analogue and digital connections'. The vast majority of professional audio interfaces are USB. Resolve should have no issue with them provided the system driver is loaded correctly.
