Fairlight: Changing Plugin Order, How?

PostMon Jun 14, 2021 6:19 pm

Let's say I have a 5 plugin chain (A-B-C-D-E). If I delete the first plugin (A), everything moves up, and "B" has moved into slot 1. I don't know if this is intended, but I can't imagine audio engineers thinking that this would be more efficient. Some times I also need to move plugins around. For instance, plugin E now needs to be plugin 3 in the chain, but you can't seem to move them around. Once they're in there, they're fixed. Is there any solution to this?

Both Audio Track and Clip-based plugin order may be rearranged via the Inspector panel.
Each plugin instance provides dedicated Move Up and Move Down buttons.

It doesn't recognize anything over 6 plugins. If you add a 7th plugin, it doesn't show in the inspector.

This is correct. If you want more you will have to bus that track to an Aux and add more there.

While the Mixer channel provides a maximum of 6 plugin slots, an additional 6 plugin slots are also available at the Clip level.
