Apply color node before transform?

PostTue Jun 15, 2021 7:09 am

Hi! Is there a way to change the order in which the different video processing takes place?

I have a group of clips on the color page with some sharpening applied, but the sharpening looks way different when some of the clips are scaled down with the transform on the edit page. So I'd like the sharpening to be applied before the transforming, to make them look more alike. The sharpening also adds some extra contrast to the edges where the image ends when doing picture in picture.

Thanks for any help.

P. 2807 of the version 17 Reference Manual has some good info on this subject.

For this problem, I think my approach would be to do both the Transform and the Sharpening in Fusion so I could control where each occurs.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
