Resolve Studio 17.2.1 No GPU Rendering

PostThu Jun 17, 2021 8:48 am

Evening all.

For a couple months now my PC has been using nothing but the CPU for work, on my main windows 10 rig.
I've tried setting the GPU from auto to manual and back again many times, watching the task manager,
the CPU loads up while scrubbing and rendering with almost 0% GPU usage.
Also tried with both the Studio and Game drivers from Nvidia for my GTX1080, along with any tips I've found on the web. Nothing seems to help.

Went from rendering at some 300 FPS down to 50-60 FPS doing basic cutting and trimming.

Am I going nuts? Something I've done wrong? I haven't changed anything except for a new case.

Cheers,

Rhys

You installed the Free version by mistake, maybe?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
