Apologies if this has already been reported.
In Davinci Resolve Studio 17.2.1 Build 12 for Mac, the New Project naming dialog arguably should be modal, but it's not.
If you accidentally click outside the dialog, the dialog disappears, and it's not obvious how to proceed, and DRS can't be quit, etc. Pressing the ESC key gets you out, but there can be a delay before even that works.
If the New Project naming dialog was modal, then clicking outside of it would do nothing, as expected.
I'm running MacOS 11.4 on a M1 MacBook Pro 13" w 16GB RAM. Cheers.
