Adjustment Clip resolution is derived incorrectly.

To Reproduce:
  • Create a project with the standard 1920:1080 resolution.
  • Create a timeline within that project with a different aspect ratio (eg square 1:1)
  • Add a source clip and an adjustment clip to this project.
  • Open the adjustment clip in Fusion and add a colour corrector node to the MediaIn1, then merge it with an overlaid background node. (node graph pastebin)

  • Create a timeline within the project with the default widescreen resolution.
  • With the widescreen timeline open, duplicate the square timeline in the media pool.
  • Open the new square timeline duplicate.

Expected behaviour:
Image
The new square timeline should look identical to the timeline it was duplicated from.

Result:
Image
The adjustment clip in the new square timeline has its resolution set to widescreen, from the timeline which was open when it was created through duplication in the media pool. The source clip beneath the adjustment clip is the wrong size and position. The nodes in the graph appear to be applied out of alignment.

Duplicating the square timeline when it is the open timeline produces the expected behaviour.

Workaround:
Opening the adjustment clip of the new timeline once more in Fusion will reset the resolution to the correct one. Note that this behaviour is the same whether or not "Auto Resolution" is ticked on the Background node.
