Davinci 17 won't start

PostFri Jun 18, 2021 8:13 am

Hello admins.

My Resolve also wont start. It was working before. Then I did a clean re-installation of Windows 10. Re-installed Resolve 17. Updated NVidia Drivers. Now Resolve won't start.

I have tried all the advice I found on the forums. Nothing seems to work.

When I installed RESOLVE a message flashed up I had never seen before. It was on that black screen, like the command prompt screen. It was quick, I cant say exactly what it said, but something like "system 32 "no rules match" and also "deleting rules"

When I disabled the INTEL driver, this made a slight difference. Now the initial PROJECT MANAGER page loaded. But when I attempted to load a project, the project manager disappeared and the program never booted.

I have the NFO and other info available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE

I notice other people seem to be having same problem. The command prompt screen flickers up when I install Saying "deleting 1 rule(s)" many times. I believe this may be a clue.

It is quite normal to see that command prompt screen flash through during installation. If you installed the updated driver for an Nvidia GPU, did you use the Custom/Clean Install option?
