Yo!
It's been two years since I've touched DaVinci - totally new project - new laptop - would be really appreciative to hear some advice on what's the best practice in terms of settings before I start the project. The details of the project are below:
- Footage is BRAW 12:1 4.6K 16:19 24FPS with some shots that are 60FPS that are going to be used for slow motion sequences.
- Footage is being edited from an SSD inside the computer.
- I'm using DaVinci Resolve Studio to edit.
- Laptop is being used to edit. 16GB RAM. Intel i7 9750H. GTX 1660 Ti.
- Aim of the film is to get it into festivals so there will be a DCP needed to be made at some stage.
I might also get an external monitor for colour grading but not sure.
