Software vs. Hardware Monitor Calibration ?

Up until now I was working with a monitor connected via the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K and calibration with DisplayCAL via Resolve.
When calibrating with DisplayCAL via Resolve I was sure that the whole signal chain was included in the calibration.

I will start working a LG C1 TV that will be calibrated in hardware with Calman Home for LG an x-Rite i1Display Pro.
It will also be connected to the Intensity Pro 4K.
The hardware calibration will of course not include Resolve.

Will the colors seen via the Intensity Pro 4K actually be identical to what will be rendered out to DNxHR ?
SDR workflow using DaVinci Wide Gamut.

You can still validate the hardware calibrated display including its entire chain using DisplayCal. It doesn't matter where you apply the correction as long as the entire chain can be proofen to be accurate (enough).

Thanks for the suggestion Peter.
I didn't think that it is possible.
I will need to learn how to just check the calibration accuracy with DisplayCal via Resolve.

Thanks Uli,
that seems to be the regular calibration workflow with DisplayCal and Resolve.
The delta values will hopefully be listed at the end of the pattern run.

If deltas are small enough then the LG C1 is good to go, if not find the problem and calibrate again in hardware with Calman for LG.
