DaVinci Resolve 17 refusing to go to CUDA error 52

PostSun Jun 20, 2021 5:21 pm

I have DaVinci Resolve 17 been using Resolve for 5 or 6 years now staying with the updates so on. I stop using it for 7 months and when I updated I got error 59 so i when did some of things said go to OpenCL didn't work uninstall reinstall didn't work go back to v 16 did that and got a new error 209 learn the only way to deal with that was to update DaVinci so i did and back to 59 then I open GeForce and saw my video card wants to run on CUDA but DaVinci Resolve only wants to do OpenCL so my video card and Resolve is fighting and I am getting the problem of it. the stats says it should be able to do CUDA but the program is only showing OpenCL and my video card only wants to do CUDA any help to fix this would be great as i got nothing at this point

If using a Nvidia GPU, DaVinci Resolve 17 needs a CUDA 3.5 frame work board if you want to use CUDA. Older cards are not compatible so they fall back to OpenCL.

You didn't provide any system details so you can check here
