Hi, I have about 6,000 clips (no audio) from a security camera. I would like to join them all as per real time code for each clip, the start of which is evidenced by the last 6 digits of each clip name. Each clip name represents actual date and time the clip was started, e.g. 20210106213512, which represents year 2021, January, 6th, 21:35:12h. Unfortunately it seems between each sequential video clip there is a gap when no recording was made, not sure why. That gap varies between 3 seconds between clips all the way up to over 7 minutes. In the metadata, each clip appears to have a starting Time Code of 00:00:00:00 and different ending Time Code, e.g. 00:00:19:00. (19 seconds). This is different for each clip and varies between 5 seconds up to 2-3 minutes.
My questions:
1. What is the best way to join all clips on the timeline with the actual start time code and representative gap of no recording between clips.
2. If I am to manually change the start time code of all 6,000 clips, how do I edit the start time code or can I automate that by using the last 6 digits of its corresponding file name.
3. If I succeed the above, can I represent the gaps between clips, on the timeline as a frozen frame of last clip with an effect of a Clock Counter going down for the duration of the actual gap between each clip.
