Automatic Dirt Removal filter

PostMon Jun 21, 2021 2:15 pm

Hi,
The automatic Dirt Removal filter from the Resolve Fx revival creates Artefacts...

The filter removes elements of the image.

Did you encountered this type of problems ?

THanks

yes, but i still find it very useful

- adjust / animate values & opacity for a given shot
- mask using layers node
- then go back and do a frame by frame dirt fix and scratch removal as needed

it's faster for me to run the auto with some tweaks first, it's real time on my machine, but if it involved a cache render for every tweak i'd revisit my workflow i'm sure

i don't know what your config is.

But i'am running DR17 on the new Mac Pro 7.1 (standard config) and when i 'am using the Automatic Dirt removal filter, the render is 3 fps... That's awful ! Need more GPU i think
