Color Highlight Mode bug?

In the color page there is the highlight mode to judge masking: highlight, highlight BW, A/B
But in my case, there is no difference. There is always highlight BW...
My system is: MacOs 11.4 on late 13 (32GB), Davinci 17.2.1 b12
