Just spent a small fortune on a new rig to edit better,
gtx 3070
ryzen 9 5900x
windows 10 64bit
64gig DDR4 ram 3000mhz
1TB CORSAIR MP400 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Updated to latest version of resolve, all drivers up to date, gpu acceleration on, etc, and it runs like absolute trash with these XAVC I 10bit 422 files from my fx6, it's almost unuseable, skip ahead down the timeline and it splutters for about 10-15 seconds, frame rate at zero, then jumps to 200 fps. This is 4k footage but monitoring at 1080, even with proxy viewing at a quarter res. This machine should really not struggle with this at all. It also takes an absolute age to render the peaks for the audio on these files.
Any ideas?
