Hi,
Me and my editor have a project captured in ProRes 4444 (1080p Arri Amira) that was edited and graded in Resolve Studio (Windows), and it is ready for master export. Our plan was to deliver both a ProRes 422HQ and something in the DNx flavour. We have run into two problems.
1. DNxHD 220/185 10bit export looks oversaturated and dark in video palyers such as VLC, but when exported file is palyed back in Resolve it looks fine. When exported in DnxHD 115 8bit this problem does not appear. Any idea what is the issue here?
2. Is there anyway to deliver ProRes on a Windows machine? I have seen plugins as well as people recomending transcoding it using Adobe media encoder, what would be the best approach?
Thank you for your help.
