I've been noticing that my projects are slowing down at weird times, like when I move markers or make small adjustments. I've also noticed that my CPU is running at 100% during these moments, but I'm confused because hardware acceleration is turned on and should be taking care of this issue. The video is is H.264 High L4.0 1080p 30fps for reference. My specs are:
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
Installed RAM 64.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
GPU NVIDIA RTX 3060 12.0 GB
The program only works like its supposed to when everything gets situated, and I haven't made any adjustments for a minute or two. My CPU and GPU are sharing the load and playback is smooth, but as soon as I actually start editing I run into major slowdown and frustration. I appreciate any feedback and help in fixing this issue.
