Synced premiere project to Davinci.

Is there any way or trick to import a xml from Premiere to Davinci and not lose the sync. Is it better to send the premiere xml to another program, and then re-export that to Davinci. My experience with Premiere xml is not so good. But there must be a way to do this. Plan b, export the audio as a multilayered audio file. The I hopefully only have to synch it at one place.

What's your proved workflow?

I was never satisfied either, so I decided the best plan was to use one or the other for the whole project. Don't even try going back and forth.
