DJI Mavic 2 Pro: LUT or Color Space Transform?

Hi folks
I am just getting started with color grading and Davinci Resolve.
I'm shooting footage on a Mavic 2 Pro in D-Log H.265. I have downloaded the DLog-M to Rec709 LUT but not sure if I should just apply that to my footage or if I should be using the Color Space Transform option within Resolve? If I should use the Color Space Transform, I'm not clear on what options I need to choose for the Input Color Space etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Keith

I think it depends. I "recently" saw a youtube tutorial about this exact thing, unfortunately I can't remember which one it was. But anyhow maybe one of these could help:

My assumption is based on
https://www.tomstechtime.com/mavicpro2Davinci has a Color Space Transform OpenFX Effect, where you can select DJI D-Gamut and DJI D-Log (for Input color space and input gamma respectively). That gives me usable contrasty colors.
The difference is better explained at

I've always preferred Color Management, typically ACES but in this case RCM offers DaVinci Wide Gamut as a working space and D-Log as an Input space. That's likely to give you more accurate results over a LUT.

Hi Jim, I'm really new to this so not sure what you mean by "RCM" ? So I should set the Color Space Transform input color space to "DaVinci Wide Gamut" and then the input gamma to "DJI D-Log"?
Thanks
