Hello. I apologize for bad English. I have recently installed DaVinci Resolve 17.2.1 on Lubuntu 20.04 without the commonly used MakeResolveDeb app. Creating user presets such as Title+ presets or Fusion transition presets will not appear again when DaVinci Resolve is restarted.
Title+ presets (dragging a Title+ from timeline to media bin) will not import back to the timeline but it can be opened in the Fusion page. The Fusion transition presets (creating transition preset by right click and select Create Transition Preset) will not reappear on Effects Library User Transitions. However, simple user transition preset (such as cross dissolve) will re-appear on Effects Library User Transitions.
I thought it was my fault for not using MakeResolveDeb. I tried re-installing on a fresh Debian 11 system. It was the same case with MakeResolveDeb. I then tested different DaVinci Resolve versions: 17.2.1, 17.2, and 17.1.1. Only 17.1.1 works fine so I will be using this one in the meantime until it is fixed.
I simply wish to inform Debian users of this bug. It may not matter to them but if you are living the same problem, then using old version 17.1.1 can help. I do not know if the bug is from MakeResolveDeb or Resolve Studio incompatibility. It can also be my system but I saw a post on different website about this problem but no solution. It did not mention 17.1.1 is working.
Thank you very much.
