Timeline time indicators difficult to read or see

PostWed Jun 30, 2021 6:05 pm

I cannot read the numbers on the timeline measurement without getting my face 5 inches from the screen. Is there a way to increase their size? I have attached an image to show what I'm talking about.

On a side note, why does the time on the left start with 01:00?

The standard default timecode start time in video is at 1 hour. This comes from the days of video tape. You can change it in Preferences/User/Editing if you wish.
What size screen are you using? You will find a larger timecode window in the Workspace dropdown menu.

I have this same problem (didn't notice someone else already reported the issue, so I posted a new thread)

The larger timecode isn't the same, previously the numbers/timecode above timelines was much clearer, now there's a gap in the middle of the numbers making it really hard to see. As it worked before, it must be something changed in Resolve itself.

Also if you look at your own screen capture you have the exact same problem.

That gap is so slight I don't see that it makes a difference. The large timecode display is showing the curser position in the Timeline. It does the same with a clips' timecode when the Source window is highlighted.

Apologies, I've just realized that you are referring to the Timecode Ruler above the timeline. For my part I refer to the timecode readouts and not the Ruler so hadn't noticed the problem. ;)
