Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 Won't Open Windows 10

I had Davinci Resolve 16 on my custom built laptop which worked perfectly fine until I downloaded the new update, Davinci Resolve 17. I tried to open the program which the blue loading circle comes up then nothing.

I updated my GPU, tried switching the graphics settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried testing it and followed this video below:

up to 7:41 and the command I put in returned rather than "okay", something along the lines of "run as adminstrator", which I tried and still got nothing.

My laptop spec is the following:

Windows 10 (64 bit)
Intel Core I7-10875H CPU 2.3GHz
32GB RAM
NVidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU 6BG VRAM
X2 1TB SSD (C & D Drives)

I tried some of this thread viewtopic.php?f=21&t=142383 but got lost at "Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file."
