Where is 6K Project Settings?
Posted: Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:52 pmI have started shooting a P6k project and I was wondering where is the 6k project setting in Resolve? (I did a search for this topic and didn't find anything. Maybe I used the wrong search items). I know you can set it up manually but the monitor settings are not going to be 4k or 8k. Does this mean I have to have to use 4k project and monitor settings and have the black bars at the top and bottom?
I know that 6K is not a delivery format but I thought there was going to be a 6k project file setting in Resolve by now, or am I wrong?

UPDATE: I think I figured it out but I hope I'm not doing something wrong and I can't remember what exactly I did because I was just trying things..
I'm shooting 24p 6k with a Lomo Nap35 3-2 120mm Projector in front of a Helios 44 or Viltrox 85mm f1.8 so the dimensions are 6114 x 1920. when I looked at the monitor setting the only thing that didn't make black bars at the top or bottom what 8k @ 24p then I made sure I selected size to fit in Monitor and the Project settings. Then the manual desqueeze in the inspector worked perfectly..., I guess.
