Bug in Fairlight presets (R17.2.2)
Posted: Mon Jul 05, 2021 8:29 pmI was so happy to learn about the Fairlight presets library, because I hate doing the same rote task over and over. I am frequently setting up projects with one stereo track assigned to the LtRt bus and a link-group of 6 tracks going to a Surround bus. I tried creating such a preset, and it worked with one bug: If my surround channels are part of a Link Group, saving and applying this preset changes the name of all of the tracks in the link group to be the same.
These are my tracks when making the preset:

When I apply it to another project, I get this:
If I leave the surround tracks unlinked when making the preset, the names do not change. So I guess that's how I'll roll for now - apply the preset then link the tracks - but it'd be nice to get that fixed!
