Resolve hangs when choosing Fusion module

Resolve 17.2.1 and 17.2.2. iMac Pro, 64GB RAM, OS 10.14.6
All was working well until one day...while working in Fusion, Resolve hung. So I killed it. Restarted Resolve. After selecting the project, hung again as the last module was Fusion. Choosing another project worked, but choosing Fusion hung. Restarted. Removed/reinstalled many times.
I created a new user, same machine, and there was no issue using Fusion. So I went back to the main user. Uninstall doesn't seem to remove everything. There's a hidden directory /Users/[username]/.gallery that remains as well as some config file I can't find. I know that since when I reinstalled Resolve, it remembered my preferences.
I think the solution is to delete all remnants of Resolve but even AppCleaner didn't seem to get everything. Any tips? Maybe there's a hidden switch to get Fusion's configs to reset? Thanks.
