uninstalling previous versions, keep plugins etc?

When installing 17.2.2 its recommended to uninstalling previous versions prior to installing. Will I have to reimport all plugins, and reset my custome keyboard shortcuts?

Which plugins?

Audio plugins will remain in place in their installed path but categorisation will follow the Resolve Preferences backup.

Not sure of the Windows location but on macOS Resolve's Preferences are stored in the following path:
Users/Home/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design
Always maintain a recent backup of this location.

Custom keybindings are stored in the Preferences folder or via the Keyboard Customisation window open the Additional Options (3 dots) menu and use the Export Preset option to store the keyboard preset in a user preferred backup location.
