Thumbnails in media pool look saturated, more red added

PostWed Jul 07, 2021 4:06 am

Hello:

I'm a new user of DaVinci Resolve 17. I'm a Mac Pro User
When I view in DaVinci my folders containing video clips in different formats such as MP4, MOV, etc, the thumbnails look saturated with a little more red added. That's before I import them into my media pool. Now, when I import them to my media pool, they look ]just like the thumbnail, saturated with a reddish tint.
When I play these files in the Quicktime player or Final Cut Pro they look flatter.

When I import one of these "saturated looking" files into my Media Pool and consequently I render - deliver them as is with no color, luts added, the saved files looks just like the original flatter file. Even though, they look saturated in DaVinci Resolve 17.
I have uninstalled and installed DaVinci to see if it solves the problem, but it continues. It seems to be a Color Management problem. I have tried different settings. Some of them change drastically the image. I just can't find the setting to make it look like the original.
I would appreciate your help!
Thanks!!!!

Solved the problem:

Opened Preferences on DaVinci
Open General

Checked "Used Mac Display Color Profile for Viewers"
