I lean heavily on remote grades for studio shows. I usually have three or more remote grades set up for each camera to deal with talent moving around the stage, or resizing shots, etc. I work with a Wacom, and sometimes hit the switch to remote grades option when using the contextual menu to select a different remote grade for a shot. This flips to local grades for the entire timeline (only that camera if I am lucky enough to be displaying common media source in the Lightbox at the time). Easy enough to fix right? No. When switching globally back to remote grades, all the shots have defaulted back to remote grade version 1 and all shots have to be re-assigned to its specific remote grade manually. Certainly the remote version selection does not need to be discarded when switching between remote and local grades globally, and back again?
