Multicam - multiple markers

I have several clips and one full zoom is from start to finish, but I have 3 wide angle shots, each 1/3 with no sound. I would like to sync these files with the markers and thought I could use different marker colors on the main full zoom and markers on the other tracks that correspond to the main colors. But after creating the multicam file, each marker aligns with the first in my main close-up.
How to synchronize clips that are not playing from the beginning but are parts of whole event?
