Version 17.2 and 17.2.2 Crash on Fairlight Page

PostSun Jul 11, 2021 6:52 am

I installed version 17.1 with no problem. I then upgraded to version 17.1.1 and it also loaded with no problem. As soon as I load version 7.2 or version 7.2.2 as soon as it launches the fairlight appears immediatly on the spacsh screen and then vanashes and program does not load.

On versions 17.1 and 17.1.1 it looks for a control surface and some other things and the fairlight page is like the last thing to load. On 17.2 and 17.2.2 the spash screen opends and immediatly shows the fairlight on the spashscreen for a few seconds and then dissappears and the program fails to load.

Any fix ?

First off, how about giving us details of your system.
Free or Studio version of Resolve? OS, GPU and it's driver version, amount of system RAM, etc. Apart from keyboard and mouse, do you have any other peripherals plugged in?

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
