DR17:Why do we have to manually click into the Timecode box?

PostWed Jul 14, 2021 5:47 pm

Hi guys,
in DR16 (Edit & Color page) you could just start typing numbers on the keyboard, press Enter and the playhead would jump to that timecode.

In DR17 this no longer works. You have to click into the small timecode box above the viewer and then you can start typing in the numbers.

This get's really time consuming in a project where you have to jump to different timecodes constantly.
Is there a good reason for this?

Maybe there is a way to bring back the old behavior, maybe even just with an option in the settings.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't find your post when searching for it.

Sorry in that case.

@Admins Please delete my post. One thread about this is enough :)
