Where is the Database located? Where are you trying to export to?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The i have three databases. One on the media server, and two internal raids. Seams like none work anymore. Apart from that, everyhing seams to work fine. No problem to work and save the projects. But I cant export a timeline...

Wait, you can or can't save the projects?

OK.

When you say export, are you talking about using the Deliver page, or Expor Project from the Project Manager?

I'm assuming the Backup is using the Backup icon in the Project Manager?

Where are you trying to Export and Backup to?
