V16.2.8: Change frame rate of a Project

PostSat Jul 17, 2021 10:12 am

I have believed that if I initially set FR to 24, for example, I could create a new empty Project with the desired FR, say 29.97. I could then copy the Timeline clips from old Project to the new Project everything and all would be fine.

But I have found the Export FR still locked to 24. You do have the option to change the FR to 29.97, but a 3:2 pulldown is applied.

Any idea how to make the new Project's export FR match the Project's initial FR?

The frame rate options available on the Deliver page are based on the frame rate for the timeline you're exporting with.

Timelines and Projects can have different frame rates.

That help any?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
