Unable to delete 2 corrupted projects

PostWed Jul 21, 2021 2:11 pm

I have 2 corrupted projects (that contain the exact same media)(they crash to desktop within about 30seconds of opening) and I am unable to delete them from the project manager. Nothing happens when i click 'delete'. Nada. Ziltch. Anyone got any bright ideas as to how i can remove them?

(also anyone have a clue as to why davinci resolve sometimes just does this? It decides it doesn't like a clip and boom, whole project corrupted?)

many thanks

Try rebooting the machine, then perform the Delete again before opening any projects.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Open the database with the OS, find the projects folder, open it and delete the project folders (which will have the project name) manually.

I've rebooted. I've updated nvidia drivers. I've taken up religious convictions. I've tried it all.

Ah. The nuclear option. Thank you. After much searching, I located the database folder on my pc and have terminated the two projects in question with extreme prejudice.
