Looking for Keyboard Shortcut in Media Page

Hello,

In the Media Page I have a clip in the media storage, click on it , then it shows in the viewer. Now I set in and out points and drag it in the media pool.

Is there a shortcut key for that? Or could I create a shortcut key? What would it be called?

In the edit page it is called INSERT or just F9, but it does not work in the Media Page.
It would speed up my workflow a lot.

Thank you.

Dorian

Your work flow is a bit...odd.

Import all the media as a first step. Then you can worry about setting In/Out points.

Hi Jim,

i did that before, I set the In and Out points brought the clips into the edit page and often the clips did not get trimmed. I noticed that only when I exported the clips and they had a too big file size.
(all clips with higher filesize of 4 GB are automatically rejected.)
I found that when I set the in and out points in the viewer and then drag it in the media pool I can easy check the length of the clip. (They should be max 20 sec long.)

Hello

Once you have created an In/Out in the "Media Page" Viewer hit "Alt+b" and it will load that subclip into the media pool.

Hope that helps.
