UI half hidden text

UI text viewing problem

After installation on a new laptop with external monitors, numerous column headers in the UI are only half showing and unreadable. An example would be the metadata column headers in the media pool. Only about 1/3 of the headers vertical height is visible. The boxes in which they header display is chopped off top or bottom. Same problems occurs in other windows such in Project Settings: Presets. Column headers are only half or less visible. A example screen shot is attached.

Laptop Screen: QHD, 1st External Screen: WQHD, display port, 2nd external screen: WQHD - HDMI

Behavior is the same on any screen and at any display scale from 100% to 200%
Dragging the panel handles to be larger or smaller has no effect.

Any help 'resolving' this will be most appreciated.
This did not occur on a previous desktop installation using the same external screens driven by an RTX 2060 Super. Though it had and older release of R17.

Try ui reset, then one monitor.
Then un install the GPU driver, and complete a full complete and clean install.

Reset UI No impact
Uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reboot DR studio 17.2.2 from fresh download. No impact.
Remove/uninstall latest RTX 3070 studio drivers. Reboot. 471.41 (July)
Then "clean" install of prior driver 471.11 (June) (fresh download) Reboot. No impact
Run with only the laptop screen. Other screens turn off. No impact.
Also loaded different projects including new blank project. No impact.

This is a 'live-with-able" problem, but is frustrating and slows work.

Any further suggestions would be welcome.

Right click to the Davinci Resolve start up icon.
Right click on "Resolve" if necessary to bring up the options window.
Left click on "Properties"
Left click on "Compatability"
Left click on "Change high DPI settings"

Check box for "Use this setting to fix ....."
Under "Use the DPI that's set for my main display when"
Choose "I open this program"
Check box for "Overide high DPI scaling behavior"
Under "Scaling performed by: "
Choose "System"

This worked for me. Your mileage may vary.

As many people have commented, it's way way past time for BlackMagic to fix the Windows scaling problems. Honestly, there is no excuse.
