Cinema Viewer (full screen) doesn't work on second screen

I'm running Resolve Studio 17.2.2 build 4 on an M1 Macbook. I have a second screen connected to HDMI via an Anker USB-C hub.

Dual screen works as intended and I can even set the second screen as Primary screen for the Resolve interface. However, if I go full screen (Cinema Viewer) by any means (shortcut, menu etc.), the Cinema Viewer always appears on the Built-In Macbook screen.

Is this a Mac OS thing or some setting in Resolve?

Any help to make this work correctly would be appreciated!

There seem to be problems with the hubs. Try to connect it directly with a converter.

Do you think hooking up the monitor with an Apple USB‑C Digital AV Multiport Adapter would make a difference?

Unfortunately, I don't have one at hand and it would be a shame to spend 79 EUR and find out it's a software issue. Everything else works as expected...

Maybe someone can at least confirm if they have or not the same issue?
