I am a new user to Resolve, long time user of Corel Pinnacle Studio products, my usage is completely non-commercial (family activities, travel, special occasions), currently plowing through the user manual, on-line training resources, any other info I can get...and making some progress.

But I did just encounter an issue, possibly a Windows 10 issue (but it literally just raised its ugly head today, and I used Resolve extensively yesterday). I checked, and my pc did not receive any MS Windows updates for at least a week.

I cannot minimize my screen when using Resolve. I literally have to either shut Resolve down or invoke task manager to switch to another program. Pressing the ESC key does not work, bouncing the mouse arrow down or up (or any other way), does not allow me to minimize Resolve and access another app (so, I have Resolve open, I want to access the user manual, then back to Resolve...no luck). As you might imagine this creates a real problem if I want to go from the user manual, or an on-line tutorial, then back to Resolve.

Any help, suggestions, or direction is much appreciated.

In the Workspace drop down menu uncheck Full Screen Window. You should now have the Windows bar at the top of your screen.

Thank you, Charles.

As it turns out, I did a bit more searching around and found the "Full Screen..." shortly after posting.

I certainly appreciate your help, and I'll continue my adventure in learning Resolve!

Thanks again.
