Micro Panel and HDR color section

PostFri Jul 30, 2021 10:16 am

Hi,

Can anybody explain to me how the Micro Panel wheels/buttons are assigned on the HDR color wheels?
I want to buy such a device, but I cannot find any information on that HDR section.

On a tangent, the phrasing is "explain to me".
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

compared to the Mini it's the defination of useless
compared to nothing at all it's the defination of awesome
Artist color and Elements have the same ablities as Micro (and limtations)

When the HDR panel is active, the three color wheels and their buttons are mapped to the the three "active" HDR wheels. Unfortunately there is no way to shift the wheels on the Micro. You have to use the mouse (or do some macro work to simulate the mouse clicks).

Some other knobs are mapped to the respective parameters on the HDR page as well.

Bottom line: the Micro panel is usable for HDR work, but usability could be improved.
