Use Speed Editor without dongle

Hello, I bought the speed editor with the dongle.
Now I am considering buying the DAVINCI RESOLVE EDITOR-KEYBOARD.
I would like to sell the speed editor.
I need the license myself for the big EDITOR-KEYBOARD.

Question: Is it possible to use the speed editor without dongle with the free version of DR 17 ?

You can install the Free version on another machine and test it. Might be faster than waiting for someone to report.
