Highlight not working when using HDR panel

If I key or mask something and then enable highlight, Resolve shows me only the masked areas. However, if I use the HDR panel at all, the highlight feature stops working immediately and show me everything, even non-targeted areas. If I again reset the HDR panel, highlight works again.

Anyone experienced this?

I just tried 17.3.
When I draw a mask using power window and adjust the global wheel in the HDR palette,
the highlight function breaks.
When I do the same using the offset wheel in primaries, highlight works properly.

The highlight mode should switch to the included the hdr zone, keyer and power window as u select them but ur info on the global wheel is new do I’ll have that reviewed.

It actually does display the most recently adjusted HDR zone, which is a useful feature in itself. However, it does not display my keyer nor my power window if I adjust anything in the HDR panel. I'm running 17.3.1

Resolve Studio 17.4 bug still not fixed

ok so almost a year - latest v18 Beta, problem still exists for me. As soon as HDR controls are touched, highlight breaks. Can anyone confirm?

Not working for me in Studio 18b5 on Windows 10.

I too have this issue. However, it only seem to occur when working in the Davinci WG/Intermediate color space.

I have my timeline color space set to Davinci WG/Intermediate with Output color space set to Rec.709 Gamma 2.4, and I’m using CSTs either end of my node tree.

I did quite a bit of testing and eventually discovered that it was the opening CST that was causing the freeze. If I delete it, the undo the delete (CMD Z) then everything works again.

It’s not an ideal fix, but it does work for me and is much quicker than quitting and restarting DR every time.
