Media Management Error Log?

Hi All

Does anyone know if the Media Management module outputs any kind of log file anywhere?

It's being a little but unhelpful for me at at the moment...
I'm simply asking it to Copy > All media for a selection of Media Pool clip items.
There are 74 files in the selection (total size is just 2.82GB)... but the copy fails with a seemingly vague 'Failed to copy 33 media files'. Is there any log file that I can look at to find out which clips its failed to copy (and why)?

Cheers
Andy

similar issue

trying to copy 3 trimmed clips ("used media and trim keeping 25 frame handles")
It says "Failed to copy 2 media files." and only one of the 3 clips is successfully copied, one is created but is invalid (size is ok, but no content seen by MediaInfo) and the last one is created as a 0 bytes file.

source is DNxHD in MOV

Hints ?

My only workaround is to export a dummy timeline (but how do I make sure I get a simple "same as source" export, as even when carefully selecting the same settings for the export format, there is maybe a little overlooked setting that may cause unnecessary transcode?)

Not being able to trust the Media Management tool to manage media properly is a huge problem that continues to exist in Resolve 19.1.4 (I haven't tested yet to see if there's any improvements in 20 beta).

If the Media Manager fails to copy media files, it MUST, at the barest bare-minimum, give the user some sort of dialogue or log file that informs them which files it failed to copy.

It's incredibly frustrating to run a 45 minute long media management task, only for it to fail at minute 24 because of a few unknown media files that it couldn't copy.
