Hi, I'm switching from windows to Linux, I imported a project that use the Open Sans Condensed font, but It doesn't looks right, I need to shrink it in x to match the correct size.
In Fusion Studio, Text+ or Fusion Page (inside DR) the font looks right, the problem is with the Text of Davinci Resolve.
I tried to manual install the Opens Sans font from Windows and downloaded from internet (google.com), but the issue persists.
Thanks in advance for any help.

System: Centos 7.9 - DR Studio 17.3.1 - Fusion Studio 17.3.1 - AMD R9 380X

Hi Lincoln

Is the font installed for all users or just the current user? When the project is freshly loaded, does the inspector show different properties on Windows and Linux for that title?

Can you provide a shareable link to the original DRP file and the Linux logs (Help menu > Create diagnostic logs)? Please also indicate which title you see this on (e.g Timeline 1 > 01:38:00 > 'Krakozhia, 2004').

Thanks
Shrinivas

I tested with an empty project with no custom font installed in the system, so the problem is not the project it self.
Then I tried to install both local (~/.local/share/fonts) and global ( /usr/share/fonts/truetype ).
Installing a custom font just mess the DR more, so I remove it.
Fusion Studio does handle the font with no problem.
Code: Select all
Log file

Code: Select all
The project has only one timeline
https://app.box.com/s/347bvx9zvzp23d54vdegy5p0ozr484qc

At 1:00:38:00 has a title marked as green with the width modification to mach the right font size.
As I said, this happens with a new empty project as well.
Thanks in advance.
