17.3.1 - Fairlight/Color audio lags behind playhead

I'm using ASIO from a Focus rite Scarlett Solo.

All audio is in sync on the edit page but in the fairlight and color page, the audio lags behind the playhead. In fairlight when playing on the timeline, the playhead does not play back smoothly, the playhead looks like the gui lags and then speeds up to catch up where it's supposed to be.

The audio during all of this is smooth and no glitches, but it does not line up with the playhead. I'll also note in the fairlight page, the video viewer stays in sync with the audio as well. It's just the playhead that is inaccurate. It also looks like the meters are in sync with the audible audio and video preview.

I haven't updated to Studio 17.3.1 yet, but I am having the same issue in Fairlight as described.

I don't usually play audio on the Color page.

Using the jog wheel of the Editor Keyboard the sound plays accurately with the waveform, but not when I just play the timeline.

Audio is no problem, on the Edit page in 17.3

I've tried just about everything I can think of to get Farilight's playhead to match the waveform and have not been successful. Anyone have any ideas? It's like the GUI lags, as the playhead is never a consistent speed. it's like it needs to catch up.

Again, it's only out of sync in the fairlight and color page, the Edit page works perfectly in sync.

Interestingly if I turn on audio timeline scrubbing, the scrubbing is in perfect sync, but on playback it still has the lag.

Is a Decklink configured in Preferences > Video and Audio I/O?
Are Desktop Studio drivers installed without a Decklink configured?

Any automation data on the Fairlight Timeline?

No automation data.

Any change with the Intensity Pro 4K disabled?

I have playback out of the intensity, so my guess is that it's not disabled.

It did give me an idea of just outputing audio to the Decklink and see if the problem would go away.

Same issue. If I use, system settings, ASIO, ASIO through decklink, ASIO through FocusRiteSolo, fairlight and color page are always lagging the playhead.

Edit: misread your response, with the Intensity disabled, it WORKED!

So it looks like i'm unable to use my intensity card while using the fairlight tab, which is really unfortunate. But glad I can at least use the fairlight tab again with precision.

Update

Although I need to have my UltraStudio 4K Mini configured for output to a Flanders when working on grading in the Color page, by disabling it in preferences (System > Video and Audio I/O) the audio issue on the timeline in Fairlight is fixed.

It would be nice for Blackmagic Design to fix this issue, so that I don't have to change system preferences when I go back and forth between pages.
