Gallery Reference/Image Wipe Wraparound?

Hello,

This is odd. I am so sure that in the past the image wipe "wrapped around" in the reference wipe, i.e. in the horizontal wipe, if I kept moving the mouse in one direction, the wipe would reach one side of the image and then reappear on the opposite side. This is no longer the case and I can't even find documentation about it. Is that a feature that was discontinued? #headscratch
