I posted the following back in August in the wrong place -- feature request. After being scolded I simply returned to 17.2.2 where this problem never occurs. Now, however, working with folks using M1 chip Mac Minis in 17.3.1 I was hoping the problem might have been quietly fixed. Unfortunately this is not the case. So knowing the following repeats some of the above, the issue does again rise to some level of concern:

Rendering out to Prores 422HQ at 1990/1080 1:85Flat from an AVC Intra 4k 422 Panasonic file roughly 2 hours with lots of audio tracks renders out with random fluttering of the image. This is true of all ProRes 422 and even a simple QT H.264 of the same project.
This came as a surprise as we have been doing these renders routinely in 17.2.2. Indeed when we reinstalled 17.2.2 we had no problems rendering out in any of these formats.

I've once again returned to 17.2.2 not sure if we can trade project files back and forth between the two versions. An unfortunate side effect was the Bluetooth with the Speed Editor no longer works after returning from 17.3.1. At least not yet.
Curious if anyone else has encountered this problem?
