No. It has been a feature request for many years.

any news about this ? that's a long time that dolby vision is in resolve, so mini panel should have an extra menu for it (in user menu, next to HDR)
I'm pretty sure that it's not a complicated add for the stunning resolve dev team :)

thank you

Dolby pushed BMD to make it since 2017. But that's still not planned.

+1

Now, with all that situation with covid, a lot of people are working from Home.

While they have to their facilities studios Advanced Panel to able to use DoVi Trim pass, they have a lockdown, and they work from Home.

It's very difficult for a professional to buy the Advanced Panel for his home office; it's more affordable to buy a Mini panel.

Using Mini Pane, when you press the USER button, it has a lot of space to add a new button to able to control DoVi Trim pass controls with the rotary knobs/buttons available at the top/bottom of each LCD screen of Mini Panel.

A lot of professionals will appreciate it, and they will buy Mini Panel for their Home studio, where they work due to the pandemic.

Even Dolby has a -50% discount for the DoVi annual license for Trim passes these days due to pandemics.

Dolby can also offer a shorter license, to help.

It will be great to add DoVi Trim pass control from Mini Panel and the large studios, and they will continue to buy the large Advanced panel for sure.

For those like me in need of using Dolby Vision Trim pallets in DaVinci Resolve Studio through a control interface, and until Blackmagic incorporates this feature into their control panel, here is a solution.
Colorist Jose Luis Tamez highly recommends it. Accordingly, to him and the developer of MIDIGrade, it simply works. It's worth the investment for those with a Dolby Vision license.

I'm afraid it's like this on purpose. Dolby asked it to Blackmagic in 2018 according to Tom Graham. Nothing done 4 years later.

MIDIGrade doesn't support Linux sadly.
